Mr. Lam Quang Tuan - Director of Research and Development Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company said that currently, most of Dien Quang's products are manufactured according to modern Japanese technology, using plastic with high heat resistance, fire resistance, and anti-aging over time - this is a factor that helps improve product safety. Products such as sockets, power plugs, connecting wires, heating lamps and electrical panels (surface electrical panels) are all tested for durability and fire safety in a modern testing room with a special equipment system simulating harsh environments. Dien Quang's sockets are insured for fire and explosion up to 20 billion VND.
According to the Vietnam Plastics Association, fireproof plastic, or more specifically, flame retardant plastic according to certain standards, is a type of plastic that has been added with some safe additives to help the material quickly harden and extinguish the fire faster than other types of plastic, without causing a fire. Therefore, fireproof plastic is widely used in the production of electrical equipment such as conduits, sockets, accessories, etc., helping these devices withstand the standard burning temperature of 60°C, slowing down the burning process and preventing the spread of fire.
