PHNOM PENH – CAMBODIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PROJECT

Located on a large area of 2,600 hectares in Kandal province and part of Ta Keo province, Phnom Penh International Airport is considered a "bright star" in the picture of Cambodia's potential development. With a total investment of up to 1.5 billion USD; undertaken by OCIC Group, this is not only a key transport infrastructure project, the airport also has great significance in promoting tourism, trade and raising the national status.
The airport is designed according to international standards with modern facilities such as passenger terminal, runway, take-off/landing area, cargo area, etc. to meet the increasing demand for air transport in Cambodia. It is expected that when completed in 2025, the airport will be able to serve 13 million passengers and this number will increase to 30 million passengers by 2050.

To ensure the quality and progress of construction, OCIC Group has selected prestigious domestic and foreign units to participate in the project. In particular, Dien Quang is honored to contribute to bringing Vietnamese light to Phnom Penh International Airport with a comprehensive lighting solution for the project, from design, supply of finishing materials and construction and installation.

Dien Quang affirms the position of Vietnamese light in the international arena
Participating in the Phnom Penh International Airport project, Dien Quang had to meet strict criteria; at the same time, face fierce competition from prestigious contractors from many other countries. Mr. Dang Tien Minh - Project Director of Dien Quang Group Joint Stock Company shared: “Understanding the importance of light in creating space, Dien Quang has designed, manufactured and installed a decorative ceiling system integrated with lighting (lampshade). This system uses high light reflection technology from special equipment, creating an indirect artistic lighting effect on the 3D stamped - stretched steel mesh placed above the lampshade; along with a 4D diffuser mesh with unique geometry, manufactured and connected by the most advanced Laser welding technology today. This is not only a conventional lighting system but also a combination of lighting and architectural art, creating an aesthetic lighting space under the supervision of the famous designer Foster + Partners from England.

Dien Quang's integrated lighting system into lampshades, with high color rendering index (CRI >80), is connected to the control center and the general center of the entire airport system. This system is designed by a team of experts with many years of experience, highly capable in lighting design as well as field work, meeting the needs of illuminance, glare, and uniformity in functional areas inside the passenger terminal, arrival and departure terminals. The system also strictly complies with standards on soundproofing, fire prevention and suspension systems, meeting the prescribed standards.

This project has affirmed Dien Quang's position as a reputable and professional lighting solution provider, putting its name on the list of contractors participating in key projects in the region and helping Dien Quang surpass large contractors from many other countries.." - Mr. Minh added.
