On April 26, 2019, Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company successfully organized the 2017 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders with the theme "PROFESSIONAL - LEAN - EFFICIENT". In 2019, Dien Quang's operational orientation will include 5 main solution groups:
• First group of solutions: Restructuring the distribution system in the direction of: discipline, professionalism, and systematicity.
• Solution group 2: Strengthen B2B channel capacity to make a strategic transition from a manufacturing and trading company to a company providing total solutions in the electricity and lighting industry.
• Solution group 3: Continue to invest in launching smart products.
In 2019, technology solution groups will continue to be strongly upgraded to new versions with more modern, intelligent and useful features.
• Solution group 4: Strong investment in communication: Dien Quang brand awareness is currently 96%, leading in the industry, but mentioning Dien Quang means mentioning quality lighting products, pioneering in becoming a technology company with smart products to meet new consumer trends.
• The 5th solution group: closing the Dien Quang ecosystem to increase the quality of service for end consumers. Synchronizing and optimizing the solutions being deployed on distribution channels: traditional sales channels, modern consumption channels, e-commerce channels, B2B channels, HomeCare... to create an ecosystem of Dien Quang products and services so that when customers have a need for lighting products and services, electrical equipment, Dien Quang is there.
At the shareholders' meeting, a number of questions were also raised about the business plan in 2019; the progress of the R&D testing center and dqh factory project; the business plan for 4.0 technology products as well as contributing opinions on the opportunities and challenges that Dien Quang is facing.
Responding to questions surrounding the above issue, Mr. Ho Quynh Hung - General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors emphasized that Dien Quang believes that the group will continue to maintain its leading position in the industry in dominating the market as well as in the minds of consumers; focusing on investing in 4.0 technology solutions, strongly transforming into a technology company and an expert in the lighting and electrical equipment industry according to the vision and 5-year action plan 2018 - 2022. In addition, the project of the R&D Testing Center and dqh factory is entering the final stage of completion with the goal of putting the project into operation in 2019. With this project, Dien Quang plans to invest nearly 600 billion VND to install and put into operation modern production lines, machinery and equipment with a high level of automation from abroad to serve research and development, testing and production activities.
Dien Quang's long-term strategic steps in the near future will create a new position and new strength for the enterprise, on par with large enterprises in the region, while increasing benefits for shareholders and the social community.
